Teams have the opportunity to register for various carnivals and tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments offer valuable development opportunities for players, foster camaraderie among teammates, and provide a social outlet for parents.
Your coach or team manager will inform you if your team plans to participate in such events. Participation may be mandatory in some cases, while in others, the coach, in consultation with parents, players, and the Junior Program Manager, will decide whether to enter a tournament.
For tournaments outside of Adelaide, the decision to register must be made early to allow team members time to book travel and accommodation. Travelling teams must consist of a minimum of 8 players and must be accompanied by a coach appointed by the club. Players are required to wear the full club uniform, including the reversible singlet.
All tournament registration fees are to be paid by the team. Costs, including travel and accommodation, are also at the expense of the player/ team and may include a coach assistance fee to help our coaches cover their travel costs.
